List of cities we collect: click city below for guidelines summarizing each

  • Garbage collection is Wednesday. Have garbage on curb by 6 am.
  • Place all garbage inside the cart. Garbage on the side will not be collected.
  • Bagging and tying your trash will decrease any trash blowing away and littering the streets.
  • Carts must be placed on boulevard or curbside in order to be picked up.
  • Allow at least 5 feet of clearance from fences, lampposts, fire hydrants, mailboxes, parked cars second garbage containers and other obstructions.
  • Do not block access to or park vehicles in front of the cart.
  • Place container so the cart opens on the street side wheels and handle are closest to house) if you place it backwards garbage gets stuck in the lid and catapulted out into yards.
  • Container lid should be able to close or partly close. Do not try stacking garbage as high as possible, when our truck grabs the container the garbage will fall to the ground. We will not get out to pick it up.
  • A second container is available for a cost. Please contact the City Auditor to set it up.

  • Cardboard should be cut or torn into pieces so it can fall freely from the cart.
